I’m Christine Itwaru. I’ve spent 16 years inside product organizations - building them, fixing them, and coaching the people leading them through transformation. I work with companies that are serious about getting their product org, their teams, and their digital or AI strategy right.
Most companies I work with are facing the same pressure: boards and investors are demanding results, and the teams inside are not set up to deliver them. Throwing tools at the problem does not work. What works is getting the foundations right first - the team operations, the systems, the data infrastructure - and then building a strategy tied to real business outcomes, not just adoption metrics.
I have been doing this work for years. At Pendo, I stepped in as their first Director of Product and built their Product Operations function from scratch, coaching hundreds of product teams across fintech, healthcare, SaaS, and traditional industries through digital transformation. Before that, I spent years as a career product manager, which means I know what good product craft actually looks like from the inside - and I know what breaks when the foundations are missing, and how those impact the customer experience.
Today I work independently, helping companies evolve smartly - in a way that actually shows up in the board deck.
Engagements range from embedded fractional CPO and Head of Product work to digital and AI transformation advisory. I work with growth-stage startups, PE-backed companies, and traditional businesses that know they need to change and want someone who has been inside organizations doing the work, not just advising from the outside.
